Departing from the electronic shifters of the S3/X3 and S5/A5 lines — equipped with 4-speed and 3-speed e-shifters respectively — VanMoof has opted for a 2-speed automatic shifter for the S4/X4. This move towards mechanical simplicity not only enhances reliability but also influences the ride dynamics.
