Developed ahead of its time, the VanMoof S5 & A5 models represented a significant leap forward in e-bike tech. Combining unique design with advanced engineering, these bikes are truly marvels of modern technology.

I prepared this article to delve into the patents I discovered, which were submitted right before the bankruptcy of the brand. These patents underpin the two models, showcasing the cutting-edge features and engineering that make them stand out.

The smart bicycle system, covered by patent TW202400454A filed on March 15, 2023, represents a significant advancement in cycling technology. This system integrates a suite of smart features designed to enhance the riding experience with advanced connectivity and monitoring capabilities.
